Each guide walks you through one task, such as connecting QuickBooks, fixing a connection, or sharing a Page. The guides assume you know your way around. If you are new, start with Build your first Model. Most tasks can be done by asking Ari or by hand, and the guides show both.

Bring in your data

Most people start here. Connect the systems that hold your Actuals, or bring in a file or an existing model.

Keep your data current

Integrations and Google files refresh once a day, and MCP servers and APIs answer live when Ari calls them. These guides cover refreshing sooner, fixing a connection that stopped, choosing which tables a source syncs, and checking that the numbers match your books.

Ask Ari

Ask about your numbers, find what Ari built, and give it the files it needs.

Guide Ari’s work

Ask for exactly the change you want, and redirect Ari while it works. Recover when it is slow or wrong, approve what it proposes, teach it how your company does things, and talk to it from Slack.

Build plans with Ari

Have Ari build the plans you run the business on, from your books and your assumptions.

Change the Model with Ari

Have Ari write and explain formulas, check what it changed, and take changes back.

Edit Pages and tables yourself

Everything Ari builds, you can build and change by hand.

Write formulas yourself

Write a Variable’s formula by hand, use one formula for Actuals and another for Forecast, and fix a formula that shows an error.

Plan with Scenarios

Try a decision without changing your plan, compare the outcomes, and keep the version you approved.

Report and share

Turn the Model into reports people read, and get them to the people who need them.

Automate recurring work

Have Ari run work on a schedule, save a workflow it can repeat, and turn on the Skills that come with cfo.ai.

Manage your workspace and account

Add teammates, work across workspaces, and set Last close. Choose or cancel a plan, manage AI usage, and change your personal settings.

Connect AI tools

Use cfo.ai from an AI tool such as Claude or ChatGPT, or let Ari use another service through MCP or an API.
