A workspace’s first plan starts with a 14-day free trial of the plan you choose. You add a card to start it, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. On the day it ends, your paid plan starts by itself and cfo.ai charges your card. If you cancel before then, you are not charged, and you keep the trial until its end date. After the trial, your plan renews each month or each year, and each renewal charges your card. A paid plan you cancel stays active until the end of the term you paid for. A workspace gets one free trial. After that, a plan charges your card the day it starts. For what each plan includes, see Plans and billing; for how plans and usage work, see Plans, AI usage, and connection slots.

Start your free trial

When you sign up, cfo.ai shows the plans before your workspace opens. The page reads Try cfo.ai free for 14 days.
1

Choose monthly or annual billing

Use the Monthly and Annual switch above the plans. The plans open on Annual, and the switch names the saving annual billing gives you.
2

Start the trial

On the plan you want, select Start free trial. Starting a plan means you agree to the Standard Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Policy; see Privacy, security, and legal documents.
3

Add a card

In Add a payment method, enter your card and select Save payment method. A card is required to start the trial, and nothing is charged today. The dialog names the date to cancel by if you do not want to be charged.
The page reads Finishing setup while cfo.ai opens your workspace, and Ari starts on your first chat. If the workspace has had a trial before, the page reads Choose a plan to continue and Your free trial has already been used. Paid plans charge immediately. Choosing a plan charges your card the same day.

What happens when the trial ends

Your paid plan starts by itself on the day the trial ends, and cfo.ai charges the card on file. You do not need to do anything to keep your plan. To see the date and the amount, open Settings → Billing: under Current plan it reads You will be charged [amount] when your trial ends on [date]. Three days before the end, a notice above your workspace says when the paid subscription starts. To end the trial without being charged, cancel before that day; see Cancel your subscription or delete your data.

Start your paid plan before the trial ends

You can start the paid plan early once the workspace has used all the AI usage included with the trial. Until then there is nothing to start: the plan begins on its own when the trial ends. When the trial’s usage is used up, Start paid plan appears in a notice above your workspace, next to your plan in Settings → Billing, and in Settings → Usage. In a chat, the usage panel above the message box offers Start plan & save.
1

Start it

Select Start paid plan.
2

Confirm

The dialog Start paid plan now? explains the change. Select Start followed by your plan’s name and now.
cfo.ai charges your card now, ends the trial, resets your included AI usage, and starts a new billing cycle today. If you would rather keep the trial until its end date, buy extra usage instead; see Buy AI usage, set a spend limit, or turn on auto-reload.

Change your plan or switch between monthly and annual

Open Settings → Billing and select Change next to your plan. Pick monthly or annual billing with the switch, select Switch to followed by the plan’s name, and confirm in Confirm plan change. The dialog shows what you will be charged and when, before anything happens: While a change is scheduled, Keep followed by your plan’s name calls it off. You cannot move to a higher plan and change between monthly and annual billing in one step; the plan card says which to do first. A plan with fewer integration slots than you use is unavailable until you disconnect some, and the card says how many. For every message, see Plans and billing.

Talk to sales about Enterprise

Enterprise has custom pricing and is not chosen from the plan cards. Select Talk to sales on the Enterprise card to book a call with the sales team.

If your card is declined

The card form stays open with what you typed and says what happened, ending with Nothing was charged. Try another card, or ask your bank why it declined the charge. See Plans and billing.
