To add a user to your cfo.ai workspace, invite them by email. Everyone you invite joins as an administrator: they can see and edit every Page, invite others, and manage billing and settings. cfo.ai has no view-only or lower role, so an invitation always means full access. To let someone read reports without joining, send a share link instead; see Give someone read-only access.
Ask Ari to invite one or more people:
Invite dana@example.com and lee@example.com to the workspace.
Ari shows exactly who it will invite and waits for you to confirm. You can add a welcome for the people you invite, with any of these:
  • A short note.
  • A Page to open first.
  • Up to three questions they can send to Ari with one click.
  • A saved Guide, offered as a tour.
For example:
Invite dana@example.com with a note saying she’ll own the hiring plan. Open the Headcount Page first and offer the onboarding tour.
If someone already belongs to the workspace without the administrator role, ask Ari to make them an administrator, or enter their address under Invite admin in Settings. Either way changes their role and sends no invitation.
Adding people does not change your price: a plan is priced for the workspace, not per person. See Plans, AI usage, and connection slots.

What the invited person sees

The person gets an email invitation to the workspace. From a workspace with a brand, the email comes from your brand’s name via cfo.ai, shows the brand, and ends with Powered by cfo.ai; see Brand your workspace. When they sign in with the invited address, the workspace is in their account. If you added a welcome, it shows in the email and in Ari’s empty chat when they first open the workspace. It is labeled Note from your name, with Take the tour for the Guide and Open followed by the Page’s name. The person can dismiss it.

Resend an invitation or fix one that did not arrive

An invitation stays pending, marked Invited, until the person joins. If they cannot find the email:
  1. Check the address in the Admins list in Settings → Workspace. If it is wrong, cancel that invitation and invite the right address.
  2. Ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
  3. Send the email again: enter the same address under Invite admin and select Add admin, or ask Ari to resend the invitation. Resending keeps any welcome you added.
  4. Or skip the email: ask them to go to app.cfo.ai and sign in with exactly the invited address. A pending invitation is accepted when that address signs in, and the workspace appears.
If the person signs in with a different address, such as the one on their Slack profile, invite that address instead.

Cancel an invitation

In Settings → Workspace, open the menu on the person’s Invited row, choose Cancel invitation, and confirm. They can no longer join through it. If they joined before you confirmed, they keep their access; to take it away, remove them.

Remove a teammate

In Settings → Workspace, open the menu on the person’s Admin row, choose Remove member, and confirm. You can also ask Ari, for example “Remove lee@example.com from the workspace.” The person loses access to this workspace right away, and any pending invitations for their email are canceled. Their access to other workspaces and their cfo.ai account stay as they are. To delete an account, see Cancel your subscription or delete your data. You cannot remove yourself or the workspace’s last administrator, in Settings or through Ari. To leave a workspace, ask another administrator to remove you.

Give someone read-only access

To show reports to an investor, a board member, or a client without giving them access to everything, share a Page with a link instead of inviting them. A link opens the Pages you choose, read-only, without a cfo.ai account. See Share a Page outside your workspace and Sharing and access.
