Merge a Scenario when you decide to adopt it as your plan. Merging applies every change the Scenario holds to Main, the Scenario that holds your current plan, and then deletes the merged Scenario.
Ask Ari what the merge would change first:
Is the Hiring freeze Scenario ready to merge into Main? What would change?
Ari summarizes the differences. Then tell it to merge:
Merge the Hiring freeze Scenario into Main.
Ari merges directly. To confirm the merge yourself, ask Ari to let you confirm. It then adds a Merge button to the chat for you to press.

Undo a merge

A merge shows in the version history of the Scenario it merged into, usually Main, as Merged [Scenario] into [target]. To take it back, point at that entry, select its … button, and choose Undo this change. Undoing a merge takes its changes back out of the target and brings the merged Scenario back. See Undo a change or restore an earlier version.

If the merge is not available

  • Merge is dimmed with No changes to merge when the Scenario holds no changes.
  • A Snapshot taken from the Scenario does not block the merge. A Scenario from an older workspace that still has an editable child Scenario cannot be merged; the refusal names the child, such as scenario cannot be merged while it has 1 child scenario, and you merge or delete the child first.
  • Main and Snapshots cannot be merged.
