Which sources let you choose
The integrations directory lists what each source syncs.
Choose tables when you connect
1
Review the list
After you sign in, the table picker lists every table the source offers, grouped by schema. Search with Search tables. The count reads, for example, 84 of 312 tables selected (max 100).
2
Uncheck what you do not need
Keep the tables that hold the records your plan reads, such as transactions and their lines, invoices and payments, customers and subscriptions, orders and products, and employees and pay. Also keep the lookup tables they refer to, such as accounts or departments. Leave out logs, audit trails, sessions, webhooks, staging tables, and personal data you have no use for. A connection syncs at most 100 tables, so a source that offers more makes you uncheck some before you can finish.
3
Finish setup
Select Finish setup & sync [N] tables. The button names how many tables it will sync, and a larger selection makes the first sync longer.
Add or remove tables later
Ask Ari, naming the connection and the tables:Also sync the subscriptions table from our Postgres database.
Stop syncing the audit_log table from Postgres.Tables you do not name keep their state. When you add a table:
- It loads its full history, as far back as the connection’s other tables reach. Ari starts a sync for it.
- It reaches the warehouse first and your Model only once a saved query reads it. Ask Ari for a query over it, such as “Load the subscriptions table into the Model.”
What Ari refuses, and why
- Removing a table a saved query reads. The query would keep showing the rows that last landed while the source moves on. Ask Ari to delete the query first.
- Removing the last selected table. To stop syncing a source, remove the connection instead.
- Changing a connection whose setup is not finished. Finish setup in the picker first.
- Adding a table past the 100-table limit.
- Removing a table HubSpot, Salesforce, Rippling, or NetSuite needs for cfo.ai’s reports.
